Oh, we all have at least one copy of that tiny magazine that blew our average minds in a big way back in 2005.

Giuseppe Russo is the founder of the one small seed brand, and editor-in-chief of one small seed magazine, the awesome publication that showcases and promotes creative talent from South Africa and the world. This creative entrepreneur who moved from Europe to South Africa in 2004, has always strived to encourage independent minds to follow their creative vision and individual dream. Other projects of his with the same idea include cult of self, we love sexy, and boom+27.

His experience ranges from events, TV productions, web design, photography and art direction. Upon his arrival in SA he started designed04, a creative company specialising in services such as corporate identities, interior design, 3D animation and film productions.

As one of the last independent publishing houses around, one small seed continues its legacy online and as a tablet application, and Giuseppe continues his legacy as one of the very important players in the development of South Africa’s visual arts.
